Wait. Does Meta Want Access to Your Website? ๐Ÿ‘€

THE CONTENT MAVEN

Hi Reader!

Okay, I have a question.

If you have a Facebook business page and use it to promote your blog, website or business, how much access should Meta have to the content you've created?

Because apparently, that's a conversation we need to be having now. lol

Meta recently announced changes to its business terms, and some major publishers and advertisers are raising concerns about what those changes could mean for their website content.

Especially when it comes to AI.

The pushback was significant enough that Meta delayed the changes until November 20.

Now, before anyone starts deleting their Facebook pages, this doesn't mean Meta suddenly owns your website.

But there are some legitimate questions being asked about content ownership, permissions, and what we're agreeing to when we use these platforms.

And as someone who spends a LOT of time creating content for my own website, I think those questions are worth asking.

I broke down what's happening, what Meta is saying, and what small business owners and bloggers should know.

Because I love using social media to grow my business. I just also really love knowing what I'm agreeing to. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Happy Monday!

Instagram followers and owning your audience
