SEO Isn't Dead. But Blogging Is Changing.

THE CONTENT MAVEN

Hi Reader!

If you've been blogging for a while, you've probably heard the same advice over and over. Find your keywords. Write your blog post. Optimize it for Google. Repeat.

And listen, I still believe in SEO. A LOT. But something is changing.

Some of the biggest publishers in the world are seeing significant drops in traffic from Google. In fact, hundreds of major websites and news publishers received 40% fewer visitors from Google Search this July compared to last year.

YIKES.

So, should those of us running smaller blogs be worried? I don't think we need to panic or throw our keyword research out the window. But I do think we need to rethink what we're building and why.

Because at the end of the day, I don't just want people to find my blog.

I want them to remember it. And maybe come back for another cup of coffee. ☕

See you tomorrow!

Instagram followers and owning your audience

THE CONTENT MAVEN Hi Reader! I've been thinking about Instagram followers lately. And considering how much fun I've been having creating Reels and sharing my everyday life, you might be surprised by where this is going. lol I LOVE Instagram.
