We spend so much time worrying about whether the Instagram algorithm is showing our content to enough people that we sometimes forget there's an entire search engine out there.

And Google has tools that can help eligible creators see how people are discovering their social media content through search. I'm talking about actual search queries, clicks, and which content people are finding.

But there are a few things creators should understand before they start stuffing keywords into every Reel caption.
